Applying for the Public Safety Memorial Grant

The Public Safety Memorial Grant assists children of Georgia law enforcement officers, firefighters, prison guards, and EMT's who were permanently disabled or killed in the line of duty. This grant provides assistance for the cost of attendance at eligible public colleges, universities, or technical colleges in Georgia.

Applicants must complete the LEPD/PSMG application and submit it to the Financial Aid Office of their college for certification. The completed application is forwarded to GSFC for processing. In addition, documentation regarding the accident or incident resulting in death or disability must be provided to GSFC.
