Application Information

A message from the campus:

Hello!  Applications for admission--even online apps--can be intimidating.  Submitting your application online to LaGrange College is the best way--and the quickest--to get the job done.  You will even receive an email confirming the submission of your application so you will know you did it right!

Remember, you can submit your essay by mailing it to us rather than typing it in online.  Submitting a paper essay allows you to use spell check and other tools we all can't live without.  Just be sure to include your name at the top of the page.



Application Instructions

Please fill out the online application as thoroughly as possible. When you are finished, click the 'SUBMIT' button on the left column of any application screen. Print the application agreement statement that appears after you submit the application. Apply today and the $30 application fee will be waived.

Application Requirements

Freshman students may apply for admission to LaGrange College by sending the following information to the Office of Admission:
  • Signed application agreement statement
  • Official high school and/or college transcript(s)
  • Official SAT or ACT scores
  • Teacher recommendation

International students should provide the following items with this application:
  • Translated transcripts of all academic coursework at the secondary or university level
  • Official results from approved English proficiency examinations, such as the TOEFL
  • A letter of support from your parent or sponsor, indicating an ability and willingness to pay the full college cost. This letter should include documentation of ability to pay from your parent or sponsor's primary financial institution

Transfer students who have earned at least 46 quarter or 30 semester hours of credit should provide the following items:
  • Signed application agreement statement
  • Official transcripts of all college work
  • Letter of recommendation

Transfer students with fewer than 46 quarter or 30 semester hours of earned credit must submit the following additional information:
  • Official high school transcripts
  • Official standardized test scores

Home schooled students are encouraged to apply for admission. In addition to the items requested for freshman admission, home schooled students are asked to provide the following information:
  • Bibliography of all high school literature, including instructional texts

Admission Requirements

Students are expected to complete a standard college preparatory curriculum and all requirements for graduation from an approved high school prior to enrollment at LaGrange College. It is the applicant's responsibility to have an official transcript forwarded from each school attended.

Instructions

To complete this online application, type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the NEXT button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be reentered prior to submittal.

Once you have completed the application, click the SUBMIT button located on the left column to submit the application.
